ROUTE 48
Background
This project investigates the accessibility of the Razorback Transit Bus to students at the University of Arkansas. Route 48 was the case study.
Method
Observation, Behavioral mapping, and Data Visualization was employed in this research.
Key Finding
The Route 48 bus is accessible to all students at the University of Arkansas. It takes 20 minutes to 30 minutes for a round trip. The bus had specific secure wheelchair spaces equipped with wheelchair life and ram.
Proposed Intervention
The University of Arkansas should provide more buses to Route 48 to reduce waiting time for students.
